Foster-To-Adopt Program
The Foster-to-Adopt Program was created to place animals into approved forever homes in a foster situation prior to adoption. This allows approved applicants to take a cat into their home prior to final adoption to monitor the dynamic
with other pets and make sure the addition to the family is a positive experience prior to the commitment to adopt.
It also allows the cat to be in and become comfortable with its forever home in cases where the animal is too young to
be spayed or neutered.
The first step in the Foster-to-Adopt process is to submit an adoption application.

Once we receive and approve your adoption application with the cat(s) you wish to foster-to-adopt, an Operation Hood representative will contact you to discuss the foster-to-adopt program, to include the Foster-to-Adopt Agreement, and answer all questions you may have. Prior to fostering cat(s) that you intend to adopt, you will be required to complete the Foster-to-Adopt Agreement.
Upon your decision to adopt the cat(s) that you've been fostering, you will be required to complete an Adoption Contract with Operation Hood.
